Initial Notes

These are my initial notes/ideas for my teaser trailer. I think that a lot of the ideas are strong and could work well in my trailer.

• White flash
• Family scene – 4 members of the family. 2 parents and 2 children. Sons. 1 younger and one teenager. Mother and teenage son on one sofa, Father sat by the fire and youngest son on the floor. LS. Possibly portraying a special occasion (birthday?)
• Text – white on a black background. The most precious things in life. White flash
• MS of youngest sons face. Laughing?
• Two shot of parents looking at each other smiling.
• MLS family talking.
• Text – white on a black background. Are the things most easily lost. Black screen.
• Soundbridge? Child laughing/child singing? SLOWED DOWN/DISTORTED.
• Child on swings. SLOWED DOWN flashes between this and the swing without a child on it. End with an empty swing so it appears that the child has flashed in and out of existence before disappearing completely. MS
• Child running through the trees. LS
• Text – white on a black background. This winter
• Low angled shot of footsteps. Adult male feet. Boots?
• Child running though trees. MS
• Footsteps of adult
• CU person putting on gloves. Adult male. Big hands!
• LS of shed. Dilapidated. Flashes up for a shot time
• Child covering in the corner of the shed. MCU/MS
• Text – white on a black background. Keep both eyes open
• POV shot from person advancing on child. Child backing away. Heavy breathing?
• XCU persons eyes. Flashes up for a short time
